Elite Maine coon Kittens Home works hard to make every reservation clear, fair, and stress free for both families and kittens. This Refund Policy explains how deposits, payments, cancellations, and unexpected situations are handled. By submitting a deposit or payment, you agree to the terms below.
Deposits and Reservations
A deposit is used to reserve a specific kitten or to hold your place on a waitlist, when offered. Because we turn away other interested families once a kitten is reserved, deposits are non refundable unless stated otherwise in writing by Elite Maine coon Kittens Home.
If you change your mind, are no longer able to proceed, or do not complete payment by the agreed date, your deposit will be forfeited.
Balance Payments
Final payment is due on the date and method agreed upon during the reservation process. If final payment is not received by the deadline, the reservation may be canceled and the kitten may be offered to another family. In that case, the deposit remains non refundable.
Shipping and Delivery Fees
Shipping, flight nanny, and ground transport costs are separate from the kitten’s purchase price unless explicitly included in writing. Shipping fees are non refundable once travel has been booked or the transporter has been scheduled, because these services often cannot be canceled without penalty. If travel must be moved due to safety, such as weather, airline changes, or kitten readiness, fees may carry over to the rescheduled date when possible.
If We Must Cancel
If Elite Maine coon Kittens Home cannot complete the sale due to unforeseen circumstances, for example if the kitten becomes unavailable, is held back for health reasons, or a situation arises that prevents safe placement, any payments made toward that kitten will be refunded, or if you prefer, applied to another available kitten or a future litter.
Health Related Concerns After Pickup or Delivery
Please review our Health Guarantee for timeframes and documentation requirements. Refunds are not provided for minor stress related issues or routine veterinary care. Any resolution involving treatment support, replacement, or refund, if applicable, depends on the diagnosis and timely veterinary documentation.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed without first contacting us to resolve the issue, the reservation may be canceled and communication may be limited to written records. We are always happy to address concerns directly and quickly.
